Role Overview:

As a Creator, Genesis Founder – UI/UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience for SagaHalla. This position involves designing intuitive, user-centric interfaces that align with the cooperative's decentralized values and ensure smooth interaction for all members. You will collaborate closely with both front-end and back-end developers to deliver a seamless, aesthetically pleasing, and functional user experience. Your designs will be the foundation for engaging, interactive platforms that bring SagaHalla’s mission to life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • User-Centered Design: Lead the design of user interfaces and experiences that prioritize member interaction, accessibility, and ease of use.
  • Wireframes and Prototypes: Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that clearly communicate design ideas and layouts for both web and mobile platforms.
  • Collaborative Design Process: Work closely with developers and other stakeholders to align design strategies with technical capabilities and project goals.
  • User Research & Testing: Conduct user research, testing, and feedback loops to continuously improve the usability and experience of SagaHalla’s platforms.
  • Brand Alignment: Ensure that all designs reflect SagaHalla’s branding, mission, and cooperative principles, creating a consistent visual identity across platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in UI/UX design with a portfolio demonstrating expertise in designing for web and mobile applications.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, accessibility, and responsive design.
  • Experience working in collaborative development environments with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with blockchain or decentralized platforms is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and a cooperative mindset, aligning with SagaHalla’s values of collaboration and shared governance.
