Role Overview:
As the Skatari of Treasury & Finance, a Genesis Founder with expertise in finance and accounting for cooperatives, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing the financial systems that will support both cooperative members and sponsored projects within the SagaHalla ecosystem. You will also manage the cooperative’s treasury, ensuring efficient financial operations and compliance on an international scale. Your contributions will shape the foundation of SagaHalla's economic and governance structure, with a focus on creating innovative, scalable financial solutions that empower the cooperative's long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop financial frameworks for cooperative and sponsored projects within the SagaHalla ecosystem.
- Oversee treasury operations, ensuring efficient management of funds, cash flow, and liquidity for the cooperative's projects.
- Manage international treasury functions, including cross-border transactions, compliance with global regulations, and risk management.
- Oversee financial governance, ensuring that capital contributions, resource allocation, and tokenomics adhere to cooperative principles.
- Implement financial controls, auditing procedures, and compliance mechanisms to support transparent and accountable financial management.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate blockchain-based accounting and governance solutions, including token minting and contribution tracking systems.
- Ensure compliance with cooperative principles while fostering an innovative and decentralized approach to capital and resource management.
- Advise on risk management and financial sustainability strategies, including capital capture prevention and member equity balancing.
